Position Nouns 方位名词

Nouns in Chinese language are words that denote a person, an item, a location, time or position. Position nouns in Chinese language denote direction. There are two types of position nouns, simple and compound.

Examples of nouns denoting simple position nouns:

- Left

- Right

- North

Examples of nouns denoting compound position nouns:

- Surrounding 周围

- Nearby 附近

- In Between 中间
