The most famous tourist attraction in Nanjing City is the Dr Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum. It was built in 1926 in honor of Dr Sun who led the rebellion against the corrupt Qing government resulting in the Revolution of 1911 that founded modern China. Dr Sun is regarded as the Founder of Modern China.

The areas surrounding the Fuzi Temple is home to well preserved Ming and Qing Dynasties buildings which housed restaurants, cafes and shops today.
The Nanjing’s 1912 bar district is a perfect place to witness Nanjing’s nightlife as it has a large concentration of bars and clubs. It adopts its name from the year Dr Sun Yat Sen overthrew the Qing Dynastic to create the modern People’s Republic of China with Nanjing City as the original capital.
