The Ngong Ping 360 is an integrated tourism project on Hong Kong’s Lantau Island. The project comprises of the Ngong Ping Cable Car and Ngong Ping Village. The Ngong Ping 360 is also near to the Big Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery both of which are major tourist attractions in Hong Kong. The Ngong Ping Cable Car is a gondola lift system that connects Hong Kong’s main subway station of Tung Chung Station to Ngong Ping. This is a 5.7 kilometers long bi-cable that offers panoramic view over Lantau Island, the South China Sea as well as the surrounding mountains and valleys. The Hong Kong International Airport as well as the Big Buddha are also visible from the cable car. The Ngong Ping Village is situated just beside the cable car terminal. The Ngong Ping Village is a cultural themed village that features traditional Chinese architectural designs, various shopping and dining outlets as well as educational excursions.
